It was a pleasure to work with Cally on her new showcase website. Cally Beaton is a fabulous new stand up comedian who asked LUA to create a design using a colour palette of neon pinks, creams and greens. The result is a look that combines a touch of 1950s Vegas splendour, a splash of Art Deco and a nod in the direction of Houtkamp.

Built with WordPress, latest live dates and tweets feature prominently on each page. The site includes an archive of past live gigs along with a full list of upcoming shows. There are also dedicated pages for News and Pics & Vids.

Website subscribers are added to the Mailchimp powered mailing list allowing Cally to send newsletters quickly and with style. Piwik Analytics and Google Webtools give Cally the ability to monitor the number of visitors the site attracts.

Coded with html5, JQuery and CSS3 the site’s layout responds and adjusts to fit the range of desktop, laptop and tablet sizes through to mobile phones.
